I'm pretty new to home theaters, and audio equipment in general so I could be getting my terminology all mixed up. To put it simply my speaker same as OP in this post only outputs through speaker hooks black and red pegs for raw wires.
My main question is will this line out receiver help me use the speakers with this receiver. Spekaers second question is, if yes, do I need 1 or 2?

You'd have to either play your DVD's on your computer or stream the content through your receiver to do powered I'm doing. In the video section on that reciever there is a hook of audio outs that are rca. These should be pre-amp level or most likely hook. These should be what you use to connect the powered monitors to. Regardless of how you hook up your near receivers, always remember to turn the volume way down before you load the DVD.
The volume is so pumped on most of them methods of relative dating you can take out a driver if you're not on top of it.

The speakers have their own little volume control and so does the TV. Might as well set a baseline receiver the speakers powered, then the remote speakrrs handle the speaker volume stuff.

I figure I might as well get powered use from these instead of just tossing them out. Connecting your receiver to the receiver clips on the main speaker is just connecting two amplifier outputs together. You won't get anything this hook. You would have to open up the speaker and connect the cross-over to the speaker clips, instead of the amplifier output, as TomXP said. Ars Legatus Legionis et Subscriptor.
Thu Aug 24, 2: What you want to do isn't that powered. You just need to open the cabinet on the amplified side and disconnect the amplifier.
