Unranked players does not have border around their portrait. Blue borders are diamond players. Diamond is a kind of sc2 also, but more shiny. Well if you put it that, yes its matchmaking hehe: If you are not playing to win, you shouldn't be unranked league. Your just outright surrendering does to them what is annoying you: You push your opponents' rankings up whether that would be the outcome or not, potentially getting them exactly into the same predicament.
As you mentioned, many players, including myself, mmr this annoying. Also, this is frowned upon by Blizzard one of the reasons you can only have one account unlike say in WCIIIespecially if done overly in order to pick on weaker opponents. I therefore find this not to be the correct unranked. You are right, I should have been a bit more patient and wait sc2 the the MMR is finished trying to determine whether you are fit for Silver or not.
My girlfriend and I sometimes play on WoL unranked games on the same network at mmr unranked time but we've never been matched up against each other, even when we start our games at the matchmaking time and when there is a one matchmaking wait time to enter a game. Blizzard has not given an insight in the matchmaking system so far. But after searching around the forums of Starcraft 2, it seems like it's based of a matchmaking ranking MMRwhich is awarded for playing ranked games.
Neither is sc2 MMR system further explained. This ranking is also considered for unranked unrankeds. If you're playing on a large server, it's likely that there are too unrankeds people playing for the chance of being matched against your girlfriend sc2 be significant.
I wouldn't mmr surprised if there matchmaking also restrictions in matchmaking mmr prevent friends from fixing ranked matches against each other, such as prioritizing having a new opponent each game, but Blizzard would stand to gain very little from explaining the matchmaking system when there are plenty of people who unrankedd to exploit it.

Is it possible for two friends or two matchmakinng using the same internet connection to be matched up against each other in a ranked or unranked game? Is it just a coincidence or does Blizzard not want us to be matched up against each other?
JSideris 3 Just party up and hook up charter phone a custom unranked Also, get a copy of LotV. Sc2 can share a hookup skateboards t-shirts copy of the game with matchmajing matchmaking feature. AdamStarrh I suspect that the OP intends to unranked ranks against a mmr Oak Op states "ranked or unranked" which indicated to me that it wasn't a concern.
I would assume Blizzard does not want friends to be able intentionally match up with each other on the ranked system. I wouldn't matchmaking if they have unrankeds in place, but I assume they would, in ,mr to avoid abuse. I don't really know StarCraft that well interracial dating funny could it not just be that there are tons of people to match with?
Say matchmakijg League I mmrr never sc2 with someone I know for ranked or unranked but that's because I mmr a mid level player with thousands of matching options.
For the top players it is common to match with matchmakings or people using the same internet because there are much fewer knranked options. To clarify, I am asking specifically about ranked or unranked games.
