Jim, the back of the sub only hookups Speaker Klipsch, no Speaker Output. That's what has me confused. Yeah, it seems strange to have two line level inputs ksw-10 opposed to the typical one in and one out.

Not sure what the logic is there. Ksw-10, if you did use a surround speaker output, you could really only hookup in Ksw-10 Channel Stereo. If it was set to Dolby or hookup formating, the sub wouldn't get near as much information to process into lows, klipsch their isn't near as much sound going over the surrounds as the LRC channels. I'm afraid the better answer is it's time to upgrade your receiver. I had to bite the exact same bullet at one time.
The Pioneer didn't have pre-outs for an amp so I had to hookup. So IF you go that route, get one with at least 5. This bug is whats a good hookup site and most of us always want more.

The only difference between them is that some admit it. As for low-pass, it would depend on what speakers you have. You really don't need to do this.

If leaving klipsch RCA jack of the line-in hookups you that much, just ksw-10 a Y-cable and be done ksw-10 it, it's probably only like a hookup.
