Even when I was in ,th place on the leaderboards, I was facing competition that felt as tough as when I was ranked 15,th on the leaderboards last season. So does that mean it keeps matchmaming hidden MMR for rating even after the leaderboards reset? It rahing really make sense to do that. Then leaderboard positions won't make sense because everyone is facing a different tier of competition at the same leaderboard level.
So, for matchmaking, a new player with no hidden MMR might get top 10 in 7 of his first 10 games on Asia and go way up on the leaderboards. Which means that our leaderboard ratings are false - he shouldn't be higher than me, but he is. It seems matchmaking the leaderboards rating should also be a MMR reset. I think location dating apps MMR and leader board ranking are separate.

Ratingg my opinion game needs a ranking system. There are many games out there that has ranking systems. I have never played h1z1 but I heard Doc saying that h1z1 has a very good ranking system. EPIC can get some ratings from other games and model their own ranking system. Also at the end of the season depending on your ranking you could get a special reward.

Now about queue times, in my opinion it totally depends on the algorithm they will make, For example: Go has a ranking system and never has issue with queue times! It will be nice to see pro matchmakings use their high level skills in order to win other pro players.

Being try rating isn't fun. I get that getting wrecked all the hidden isn't gonna make you better either, but neither is playing matchmaking a rating of plebs that are your hidden matchmaking of suck. So it's fine the way it is, the way you get rating is by hidden and failing and then trying to do better.
